Nights of Victory

Just one week after the ends of the White revolution in Egypt, young people concentrate every Friday night at the most centric and important Cairo squares. They celebrate the triumph revolts and the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak’s regime, which was in power for more than thirty years.

The White Revolution or Young People Revolution began on the 25th of January,  2011 and named as the Rage day which was propagated in all Egypt. It was led by different social groups and animated by the successful protests in Tunisia.

After 18 days of confrontations between young revolutionary people, those in favor of Mubarak, the police of the regime and the pressure exerted by the international community, forced the dictator to leave the power. Egypt, February 2011
